I think 41 for Edmonton has played his last preseason game.

Good game for the Jets. Some obvious rust for the vets, but I thought CSV were cooking with gas tonight. Also liked Kupari/Barron/Names. Thought Salomonsson attributed himself well on Mossey's pairing. Good vision and excellent instincts on when to attack. Capo and Stanley were meh outside of the goals they contributed to. Was left rather wanting by Gus and the kids. Chaz didn't really stand out to me 5v5.

Hard to read much in a game against that level of competition. Edmonton brought an awful roster. We won and we should have won big.

Vilardi shows some excellent tools. Really going to like what he brings. Fit in well with Kyle and Mark.

Salomonsson was really good. Kid has all the tools to play top pairing minutes some day. I think he's going to be an excellent player.

Thought Stanley was pretty poor until the third where he settled. Still at the back of the bus for me in terms of the LD competeting for spots.

Nice to have a player that can stir the drink on the fourth line in Namestnikov. Barron was fine and Kupri was just ok.

Kid line was buried 5 on 5. Lucius needs lots of games. The other two imo have no real NHL future.

Gus was mediocre. Still way too slow a skater.

No one is really taking that last depth forward spot as of yet.

Pretty pretty good. No surprise given their lineup. Capo doing stuff in the third, no physicality Samberg being a demon in front of Brossoit. Kupari made some really nifty plays I thought, that could be a really strong 4th line.

I'm not sure what more people expect from Gustafsson honestly. First few steps aren't great, top speed is fine. He had a few solid chances, scored a goal. The opposing team couldn't do anything when his line was on the ice and it doesn't surprise me at all that they won the fancy stats battle among our lines. Great on the penalty kill and best face-off percentage in the game as well. He's not flashy, never will be, but he was very effective tonight.

Lucius and Torgersson came in with an xGF% of just over 3% they looked okay on the power play.

Just finished watching.
My hot take: Vilardi will outscore Dubois and his big fat contract this year. He’s so much stronger than I expected. And he works hard. A perfect fit.

I thought Barton and Capo both had fantastic games. Not just because they scored. Both were very noticeable all game.
