Agree. He was always more of an offensive / skill guy who just happened to be 6’7”.
But now we have skill guys who are far more skilled, stronger all round and less risky, even if they are shorter.
But I am expecting the inevitable “The Jets are committed to Logan Stanley“ line to pop up in a Murat piece.
They've clearly tried getting him to play more physically but it doesn't work when he puts himself out of position to make any contact and doesn't have the speed to get back.
He's never been a naturally edgy player... not in his nature...
I kind of feel like he might've been adding it to his game because he knew he needed to bring something more. I feel like it might've hurt his game more than helped because as I said, he has no speed to get back into position when he puts himself so far out of position to make any contact in open ice.

I'm impressed with Kupari's speed and agility. Has some decent vision as well. Good cycle and possession by the 4th line.

It's kind of bizarre how they've handled his development.
Salomonsson can really make a stretch pass. Pretty impressive game from him.
Probably figured it was thebonly chance to get him in. He clearly was never skilled enough to make it as an offensive first guy.
