I do too. I want Nurse and Reinhart to get a steady diet of Monahan, Benntt, JG, Hudler to see what they are made out of. I fully expect them to get burned numerous times but trial by fire will be a good way to see where they are at

In Edmonton I want McDavid against Wideman and Russel (two legit top 4 guys) all game

I also hope Nurse and Monahan get into it and get the rivarly going

As much as I hate Calgary, I want the BOA to being back to being good again and not a blood bath (for Calgary). Edmonton being good gets Calgary motivated to be good which gets Edmonton to be good and so on. Best for both teams. I hope its physical but no Edmonton guy runs a Calgary skill guy and vice versa

Both teams have plenty of guys that would make a great rivarly

He's doing the old-school training camp thing where guys didn't train in the summer at all and used camp to try and get back into shape.

Send his ass to the AHL I say. Put in Reinhart.

Sweet haha, I was going to watch the Edmonton game because I'd rather be the underdog but that could get interesting.

Ferland, Bollig, Shore, and Smith will probably oblige anyone that asks.

Is that Drew Shore? I had no idea that he was a fighter either. I guess at least partially because there's virtually no fighting at the NCAA level. Meanwhile guys like Parros and Scott were NCAAers IIRC.

I'd think that Nurse would want to play a tough game tonight and I'm sure that someone (Smith maybe?) would want to oblige him and try to show his coaches and management what he can bring to the table. I'd be surprised if a regular outside of Bollig would be looking at fighting a guy trying to make a NHL team.

Bob Stauffer said the Klink wasn't too happy having a diminished role. Either that means playing wing, or being on a 4th line.

I don't see a spot for him. I like Pitlick better and Gazdic provides a specific role.
