Slaf needs more touches. Makes things happen when he has the puck. He just needs the time to experiment and play around.

Compared to his first scrimmage and second one, you saw him control the puck twice in the third one and he already eclipsed that in a more competitive game tonight.

Slaf needs more touches. Makes things happen when he has the puck. He just needs the time to experiment and play around.

He doesn't really seem to want it or to be bothered with actually going after it. Hes almost always coasting around as F3 which for a guy his size isn't a good sign. If he wants to have any success he needs to play aggressively and want the puck at all times. I do wonder if he has the brain to be more than a run of the mill NHLer.

I see a guy who is very eager to want the puck. I do agree that he needs to be more aggressive in getting it. But he definitely wants to carry the play.
