Preds @ Capitals - The "Let's Start to Turn This Around" Edition - Nov 6th 2024

Sissons blocked that shot with his arm the puck hit above the glove and below the lower end of his elbow pad. Looked like it broke the skin and he was bleeding. If it wasn't a broken bone then some seriously bruised muscles/tendons.

Well some big problems but was still a winnable game. Stinks to have at least a point yanked by the NHL.

I can't even fuss about Brunette really, guys just didn't get it done. If they had gone to the net in the first two periods this is probably a different game.

Honestly, it was one of the better efforts on the year. Not sure that is saying much or is any indication of anything though.

Josi and Skjei pairing should be blown up. Parssinen was the Preds best player and he'll likely seat out the next game given what we usually see.

Still trying to process that goaltender interference call. Would love to see the official explanation since they took about 5 minutes reviewing it and seemingly still got it bass ackwards?

Regardless, everything still seems so sloppy. Felt like Parssinen was the best player from what I saw, which is not a great sign.

I don’t know man- it’s a little disheartening and depressing hearing so many people saying we were better tonight than we have been.

Caps had SIX expected goals tonight and just look at that heat map

Moneypuck had it 82% Caps

I guess it is better than a completely lifeless shutout at home but if that’s a better effort from us then we are in big big trouble

We do good enough to win on our own, we sure don't need the NHL helping other teams out too.
The most amazing thing about evaluating the Predators' performance is that Saros (I've only seen a few games) seems to be one of their best players. Imagine with an average or bad goalie?

It all sounds like the AHL refs.
