Not to toot my own horn, but I nailed my 4-6-1 prediction for October I didn't think it'd look this ugly though lol.

I'm gonna go with 4-8-0 for November. I think we'll start playing a bit more defensively and our goaltending numbers will be better. But I'm expecting our powerplay to regress a bit and Caufield to cool down to a more sustainable scoring pace.

Last year, we were bad, but some games were exciting and close. This year, when we lose, it's a clear loss, not close at all. Our losses have been really ugly, have been completely dominated.

Comparing to last year, I find that the team performance has regressed.

Yeah, we currently have the worst goaltending in NHL. Last season, it was one of the best.

Being a starter is a different process mentally and Montembeault is failing that part, a lot of goalies do.

Optimistic to be sure...

In March/April last year, he finished the season with 16pts/22games (.72ppg)... He started the year off poorly, and maybe last year's finish was just a fluke, but I'm hopeful it's just a cold start that he shakes off and we'll see him go on a tear.
