Solid in the first and second, on our heels a bit in the third but Ullmark played great and Cousins got a timely goal to prevent a real chance of a comeback.

Passes were crisp tonight, and we got scoring from unlikely sources. Defensively we mostly kept the Preds on the perimeter, but in the third things got hairy.

Ullmark played well

He did, from what I saw (only caught the last half of the game). Sometimes it takes a while for a goalie to adjust to anew team and system. Maybe that's e case with Ullmark.

I was able to listen to the 3rd on the radio on the way home, unfortunately they talked more about the F1 race in abu dhabi than the game, but they talked about how many good things the team did that game, it did seem like Nsh was getting a lot of pressure in the second half of the third though.

Leaky in the 3d period when Nashville was pushing but we pushed the pace in the 2 periods.

We were the better team up until we went up 2-0.
We slacked off some after that and pretty much let Nashville come at us.. ice was tilted in the 3rd
The 3rd goal came at a good time and it would have taken a huge collapse to give that away.. they did not have that kind of collapse... they more or less were surviving.
Could say they were resting up for tomorrow but I always found it more tiring to play in my own end
Ullmark was really calm and solid

PP was bad

I am glad that wasn't vegas or edmonton coming at us in the 3rd.

It was a big team win.

Highlights showed some pretty wild chances on both sides, feels like this could have been a 6-5 game the way the puck was bouncing around in front of the goalies on the highlights.

That Sanderson play to save a goal was the play of the game imo. Cousins scoring on the break was huge too.

Tkachuk Batherson and Norris were amazing tonight. Should've had 3 goals. They better continue to play this good, especially Batherson

Stutzle quietly racking up assists is good to watch. I need him to get some more goals

I was impressed with Norris. I was at the game and he does a lot of little things that probably get missed on a TV broadcast. Good game though. Very structured.

The team had a good game, and they were happy to get the win. The game was fiercely contested, and UllMark had a good performance. I like that they were engaged for most of the game until they were ahead, and they let the Predators have way too many chances, but this was a struggling Predators team, and if it had been a top team in the league, they would have made a comeback. However, none of that really matters it's a win, and we'll move on. We always face challenges from the Islanders, so we must remain focused and prepared for the game. We got a tough month ahead of us but we're off to a good start here.

Alfredsson needs to be in the ears of Stutzle and Norris telling them to shoot the f***ing puck even if the angle isn't perfect. Better that then pass it around and get no shot.
