Chabot is honestly cooked. I don't think you can change a guy's mindset at this stage of their career. They either "get it" or they don't. He's not going to start playing with pace/intensity out of nowhere.

I don't think his contract is easily moveable though. I doubt many teams want that anchor on them.

Chychrun has the tools and the drive to be better. I don't know that we haven't already seen the best of Chabot and I suspect he's better suited as a second pair guy who doesn't have to be a leader somewhere else. That contract is a doozy though.

First, the racing each other around the rink test is a far different measure than burst speed, acceleration off the mark. Second, it's not that Norris can't be faster in tight, it's that he doesn't engage aggressively when he should. Just my opinion...

I think it’s a matter of time before Norris starts to contribute stats, he missed so much with repeated injuries to his shoulder. That one-timer is missing atm.
