Predators now have a wait list for season tickets

Being on the list doesn't guarantee there will be tickets to purchase available next season. I guess it all depends of what current STH do at the ''renewal date deadline''.

Talked to a ticket rep. Said the wait list isn't a guarantee, but would be "shocked" if you didn't get seats for the upcoming season.

You said some teams still fill the place up when they stink. Attendance at Wrigley Field fell nearly 400,000 in a two year span during the rebuild.
Top half attendance in the league, which is admittedly lower than I expected. Still pretty decent for some crappy teams. It's also happened for a lot longer than the last decade.

It's fine though, I'll cede the point and thank you for correcting my mistake.

Being a Cup contender every year sure helps huh?

2012-13 - The team had one of the worst records in the league.

2013-14 - Pretty much in the bottom 6-8 teams until a late hot streak pushed them to the 11th worst record.

2014-15 - 104 points. Lost in 1st round.

2015-16 - Wildcard tean. Lost in 2nd round.

2016-17 - Lost in Stanley Cup Final. The first time in franchise history they made it past the 2nd round.

Making playoffs makes you a contenter. In my book anyway.
Lets stop getting, giving and using excuses and just appreciate what the Predators accomplished both on and off ice, both by players and team management.

Not always.....Sometimes teams make the playoffs by virtue of playing in a very bad division and would have zero chance if they were in a different division.

Yes, and sometimes there are Cinderella teams like 2011-12 LA Kings who barely made the playoffs and went to win it all in just 20 games.

But... but... the wait list would be longer in Canada!!1!

A Nashville game is on my sporting bucket list. Figure I can convince the wife to come if I take her to NOLA on the trip as well.

Love both cities. That trip would be tough on your liver.

Not sure if hes talking about New Orleans or Oak Ridge Tennessee quite frankly. It too referred to as NOLA but for different reasons.... Top Secret at one time. Very interesting place to visit.

Umm, not to be "that guy" but this doesn't imply they've sold out their season tickets. Its just a wait list to purchase season seats for next season after the current holders have renewed. Considering the amount of the deposit, its basically an early purchase of next years season tickets.

I'm with Cheswick, having a list doesn't mean there aren't enough seats to satisfy everyone on it, and then some, already. The wording is a little ambiguous, but all it really says is "we are taking deposits for next year". Doesn't say if they have 0 seats available or 10,000 seats available. Just that they aren't assigning seats until later next month, but you can get on the list now to get first choice of what is available.

Maybe they won't be able to accommodate everyone on that list for 18-19, or maybe they will. Can't tell from the information provided.

Well if all STH's renew, waitlisters will stay on the wait list. They capped Season Tickets @ 13,500, and they were already close to that number when the season started with demand continuing through the first few months of the year. Eventually people started settling for the partial plans such as a 10 game pack or less.
