Nashville Predators (21-32-7, in the Central Division) vs. Boston Bruins (28-26-8, in the Atlantic Division)

Boston; Tuesday, 7 p.m. EST

BOTTOM LINE: The Nashville Predators visit the Boston Bruins looking to break a six-game road skid.

Boston has an 18-10-5 record in home games and a 28-26-8 record overall. The Bruins lead league play serving 10.6 penalty minutes per game.

Nashville has a 6-20-4 record on the road and a 21-32-7 record overall. The Predators have gone 6-5-7 in one-goal games.

The matchup Tuesday is the second time these teams square off this season. The Predators won 4-0 in the previous matchup.

I would be shocked if the Preds win this. Not because the Bruins are some juggernaut. But because Nashville, who were already not good have been steaming dogshit the last little bit.

A loss here is realistically the final nail in the coffin.

It's getting harder and harder to get up for a Bruins game this season

..hopefully there will be some drastic changes soon

Last summer, after both Nashville and Boston made big splashes in free agency, I jokingly lamented watching the Preds and B's in the Final would be tough, since their uniforms are the same color.

That's clearly not going to be a problem. ;)

Ah, the one team that's been more of a disappointment this year than the Bruins. Well maybe Buffalo too. Anyway, who knows how this will pan out. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll be a really good game. All the crap might somehow produce something beautiful.
