At this point I'd say not. NESN are duty-bound to pretend that the Bruins are still battling for a playoff spot, and the commentary matches that. But even so you can hear the enthusiasm dying and the realism is creeping in.

Quite tough for Judd too. First year where he's trying to establish himself and replace someone as treasured and full on as Edwards, and this is what he has to work with. Not a huge fan of his work - think he's just ok - but must be said he's got a tough gig here.

They have all 3 of those things now and they are looking at a top 13 pick. I expect Swayman to be better next year but it's not a guarantee. Still have no legit #1 C or even a certain #2C and there's little real scoring outside of Pasta. If I'm the GM I go full rebuild. But I don't think they will.
