I hope you're wrong. I don't like the "eh it's good enough i don't need to train" attitude. McDavid wants to be even faster. Laine should want to have an even better shot.

Little has looked good imo, moving well, good pace, strong on pucks. The line works much better with Perreault on it for the corner and board play, allows Little to get into the play.

Vesalainen looks good, some really strong shifts

ugh I know its preseason and all but NHL.com still has yet to update the score and calling the game 3-1 after the 2nd period. Was driving me nuts for a bit until just now when they said the score on the radio.

Connor is looking like he will not be making it easy for anyone to take his spot on the #1 - his puck handling is second to none on this team and his speed with the puck is fun to watch.
He's shooting like Scheif - quick little one timers from in close - this line is going to have a killer season.
