It's these kinds of drubbings that lead to definitive yes and no's for the coach. Gotta feel for Dahlstrom but I'd rather not see him play like this in the regular season, let alone in the playoffs.

He's been their best player actually. Really good imo.
That's the point. Everyone always ripped on Marincin but atleast he could take a regular shift and not have a grade A scoring chance against everytime he was out there.

Everyone ripped on Marincin because he had no business being in an NHL lineup but somehow kept ending up in one.
Dahlstrom will not be in an NHL lineup for any foreseeable future.

We are talking about guys who were likely first wave cuts anyways. The best hope for a Dahlstrom was to put himself in conversation for injury call ups, but Rubins has won the first (and possibly only) round there with his play today. Of course, Sandin is there too.
I kind of wish we saw Douglas and Villeneuve over Seney and Dahlstrom TBH. Douglas and Villeneuve are not going to be NHLers obviously, but let's see them in the preseason before they go to the Marlies/Sea Dogs. We know Seney and Dahlstrom are ideally not playing a single game in the NHL next year, and are just AHL role players.
Menell is better than I thought, other than that I haven't really learned anything tonight besides that Dahlstrom is not even an AHL defender.
