lo there is a kid who is 6'9", I think he is playing the wrong sport

edit: according to someone over on the Montreal forum Montreal will be icing,

"Drouin, Anderson, Dvorak, Guhle, Norlinder, Chiarot, Savard, Armia, Evans, Allen, Mysak, Ylonen, RHP among others. It should be a better line-up than Saturday along with the more interesting prospects"
Marner alone is worth more than all these guys combined. We should be fine.

My guess:

Ritchie --- Brooks --- Marner
Gusev --- Kampf --- Kase
Mikheyev --- Semyonov --- Simmonds
Douglas --- SDA --- Anderson
(Seney)

Rielly --- Dermott
Dahlstrom --- Holl
Rubins --- Mennell
(Kivihalme --- Villeneuve)

Three lines up front, with a player likely to punch someone in the face at some point.

Things I'm personally looking for tonight:

1. How does our new tandem look? Campbell and Mrazek are hopefully gonna put on a show as they begin to push eachother for playing time.

2. How does a healthy Kase look? And how do him and Kampf look as a duo.

3. Nick Ritchie. Is he a 1st line LW compliment? Bunting showed well in his audition for top 6 LW.

4. Can Joey Anderson force us into giving him a legitimate look? Doesn't look like he's currently being given that opportunity based on lines.

5. Can Menell force his way into the competition for that #6 spot on the backend

Not expecting the same lopsided result tonight based on the lineups, but I'm looking forward to see how the all the new acquisitions look in game action.

think it's crazy that he hasn't been tried here before - not because i think it should be permanent or anything, but because Mitch and the other stars should all be movign and switching between all these spots on the PP constantly.

I was literally talking all playoffs about how they should use the bumper spot more like Tampa did rather than just a decoy.

Brayden Schenn on the Flyers PP was also awesome from that spot.

yeah the thing is the bumper spot is hard - you need some real nifty mittens to make it work right. which mitch has, of course.

Tavares

Nylander ----- Marner ----- Matthews

Rielly

Seems like such an obvious thing to try, given marner's insane hands and touch and not great shot, and given Willy and Matthews' wicked shots.
