GDT: Pre-Season Game #2: Toronto @ Montreal | 7pm

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Honestly I am really impressed with SDA this last 2 games. I really thought he had a poor rookie camp even though he put up pts. But he really has looked good in this first 4.5 periods of the preseason.

also marner walking into one and beating Allen clean from the top of the circle on his glove side with no traffic is a great sign. That shot looked a lot heavier than we’ve seen before from Mitch. I think he’s had a strong game as well

SDA is so weird. He seems like one of those guys that looks better against better competition. If I were to guess it's because the stronger positioning and structure suits his cerebral style a bit more.

its a more veteran line up tonight and it’s game one for most of this line up. They are getting their legs under them. Anyone getting worked up about anything in this game should take a break from hockey. Next week when most guys are cut and it’s closer to the real line up you can judge.
 
SDA has impressed me the most so far. He seems to have the Marner syndrome and refuses to shoot but can really dish it lol

what you talking about. We only have like 5 vets that are guranteed spots
Everyone else is fighting for a spot
 
great rush from that whole line- marner with the pass, ritchie getting open and brooks driving the middle to make space
 
Brooks obviously doesn't come close to comparing to Matthews. But from what I've seen, Ritchie will be very serviceable beside Matthews-Marner. He doesn't have the foot speed, but does most other things well to compliment those two. Has smart short area plays I've noticed
