The worst D on this team is clearly Bear. Even in a 6-1 blowout he can't get a point.....
I think that's why Rod still has him playing tonight instead of Coghlan. He needs to play himself into the starting lineup. Honestly, he doesn't look exactly horrible but I am unsure what he offers in the starting lineup even over Chatfield.

More salary. And it's a waste of money. I'm tired of people defending him because he's Cree. He has no place on this team at that salary and even that wasn't enough that he tried to arbitrate it.

Teams are probably waiting for him to be waived, if I'm being honest. No one wants to pay that 2 mil.

I liked Bear last season but I was kinda hoping we'd move on already. Let Vancouver or whoever take a swing.

On one hand we're up 6-1 and we could easily be up 7 or 8.

But on the other hand I did not get a free t-shirt from the giant cannon during intermission.

0/10 experience. Ticket reps will be hearing from me.

I caught one at a Hornets (the original Hornets) game when I was about 11. I was so excited, then I realized it was like 3x my size

Who's defending him because of his ethnicity? Vast majority of Canes fans think he's going to be traded and/or won't be in the opening night line-up.

If the thing that fans are worried about is about who plays the 3rd RHD role on the bottom pair, and it doesn't even have salary cap implications, we're in a pretty good spot as fans.

I don't think anybody is "worried". There are only a couple of spots available on the whole team, so during training camp and pre-season, that's what a lot of the discussion is going to entail. 6/7 D and 13/14 forward is what a lot of the discussions have been about recently.

I agree though, the team is in a pretty good spot if that's the only real open spots.
