Coach Noel pre-game

Coach-Noel-post-practice-300x169.jpg

Coach Noel - Regulars out of lineup by design? Is there a responsibility to the fans in Saskatoon to put forth best lineup? Deciding on his lineup. Talking about Wheeler out of lineup. How will he be involved in getting his roster down to the opening day lineup? What is his assessment of Paul Postma? His defensive group. What does he look to establish in tonight’s game? Bogosian is day to day.

To listen click here.

And yes lanky will be on TSN National.

They're our proven line who have chemistry already. Give the bubble player more looks tonight and then roll into tomorrow's game with our real lineup.

Oh, we're still assessing "bubble" players. Got it. I realize they are our proven line. I just was hoping to see our full line-up for the last two warm-up games. Oh well.

Hey guys, I don't want to make a new thread for one question only so I figured I would post it here, I'm new to twitter and was wondering if there was any "must follow" for the Jets ? Outside of the obvious like Bob MacKenzie, James Duthie, ect..

Thank you !!

I was out running an errand and heard Noel on the radio. He sounded a little frustrated himself at not being able to run his full lines due to injuries.

Tonight is going to be my first Jets game. With all of the Bruins' big guns in town, I think it may be an interesting one :help:

Yeah we ain't getting much love from anywhere outside of Winnipeg. Its worth pointing out that most pundits had us finishing way lower last year than we ended up doing...

When I followed the Sens, I remember prognosticators predicting them to finish last - they made the playoffs.

So, meh.

I personally think they'll challenge for a playoff spot again, and as a bubble team, their final standing will probably be a result of how healthy they are. Too many long term injuries to any bubble team will do them in.

Wheeler is hurt and Noel doesn't want to break up the top line, so they all will sit tonight. Sounds like they may play tomorrow.

Looks like Clitsome-Buff could be a permanent pairing going forward. Unless Toby is injured, that is. Those two are in tonight while Toby sits.

I'd be good with Enstrom - Bogosian, Clistome - Buff. I know the stats from the past say it's a bad idea, but maybe they will build chemistry and work out.

I'd say it's less of a bad idea and more of a not-as-good idea. Enstrom and Buff have been playing together a long time, and they put up a lot of points together. IMO, you just don't split that up. Like, Kane would put up more points if he was playing with Little and Wheeler, but nobody's suggesting that. Go with what works, AFAIC. Still, it's important to develop chemistry in the case of injury, so I'm in favour of this arrangement for now. I'm just sceptical that it'll be that way long-term.

Have a seat, son, we need to talk.

LOL :naughty:

I wonder if the Bruins will play hard or just test out a few things for the regular season, and I still don't know what the Jets mind set is this close to the regular season. Double header should give an indication of what the mind set will be for the start of the season, hoping to get some understanding and insight on PP/PK. Also are the Jets staff going to be a trap team/skating/dump and chase.... so on so on.
