If I'm the Rangers I'm looking for a good showing from Kakko, a better outing from the Panarin Line, and seeing how Chytil and Laf fair without their other kid

All obvious points, but not sure its worth splitting up kid line if all 3 don't keep going on that same path. IMO, kreider-Zib and Panarin-Trocheck have a better chance at working through kinks with their revolving RWs than the kids do when they finally start to gain confidence and chemistry then get it ripped apart.

As much as I like Kakko and Laf and want them 1/2 RWs, unless they both are up there and not just 1/2 I'm not sure we are a better team than we are with the Kid Line intact

I hope that's right. Some of the decision making last year gives me doubts. But lets all hope.

Fair enough. Pretty clear to me Carpenter best serves as 13th and insurance for Goodrow injury/he's filling in for an injury higher up. Goodrow 4th between Blais and Reaves.

If you really want 1RW Kakko amd 2RW Vesey, then try Kravtsov in Kakkos spot on kid line. Even know Kravtsovs looked trash, gotta believe with all that talent and a clear opportunity he's going to figure it out. Let him ease in with kids, then maybe the pressure of playingt op 6 with Bread is off and he can relax and play better there.

Now is the time to give Laf/Kakko/Krav/Jones the chances to see what you have and what holes you need/don't need to fill at deadline or mid season

People need to relax. Kravtsov isn’t getting cut so if he’s not in the starting lineup, he’ll start as the 13f and eventually get into games and as long as he earns it the opportunity to be a permanent roster player is right there. Not being in the starting lineup is not the end of the world, he’ll be fine.

They started him in camp on Panarin’s line, idk why people are crapping on the coach in this instance. What else are they supposed to do? They immediately gave this kid 2RW right off the bat, first crack. They gave him the opportunity right off the bat and stuck with him there even when he clearly wasn’t performing at his best. It is what it is, he didn’t really earn it. He’ll get another shot and he will hopefully earn it then. Vesey starting the season there does not mean it’s his spot forever. He will be a placeholder until Krav takes it back and doesn’t give it up.
