Power isn't remotely that good my man.

If I'm the Rangers, I don't even entertain LaF for Power straight up. LaF is the better player and it's not that close either.

Im probably Power biggest critic on Sabres board.. I would take Power over Laf. Power is going to put up a lot of points. He is pretty elite at transitioning the puck and breaking down defenses ... Once he fully develops his shot he will be pretty darn good offensively. My problem with him is defensively..yes he is young and that stuff takes time but doesn't seem like he is even trying to improve defensively.
I've been wanting to trade him for 2 years now because I think our defense is built shitty and not wanting to take the time for him to develop

Oh, I disagree, he's not that good defensively yet, but he's good offensively, he's good at moving the puck, he scored a lot of points at ES and he still has a lot of potential. I don't see any point in trading Power in that case.
You think Owen Power carries more value than LaF? So much more the Rangers would have to attach two good assets like Trochek and Cuylle to LaF to get Power.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but if you think that.. you're hitting the super crack. And that stuff is bad for you.

Power for LaF is an interesting thought exercise, but Power for those three is outrageously over valuing of Mr. Power.

I'm not sure the Rangers off all that for Dahlin let alone Power. Power and Byram carry around the same value to me (or will once Bo resigns). And Byram was traded for a good 2C in Mitts.

Power for a Seth Jarvis or Wyatt Johnston (both young 1st line level wingers) seems like a fair value trade.

No, I didn't say Power for those three, look at my post it said Power+, it could be a three-piece deal for three or Power + a forward for Laf/Cuylle + Schneider. Different options. Power is more valuable to me than Byram because of potential, already signed contract, no injury history like Bo. Although Byram was decent for us and I'm not going to give him away cheaply either.

Hey! I specifically said "NOT" a neg asset

Pls read full scope + be better informed
I said in OP chat on these boards is both he was available, some saying discounted, and I said I could not imagine the discount being extensive, and I wanted to see here to what extent discount would be offered

NOT my suggestion
