The Kings desperately need to add a big winger that brings a physical element to their top 9. Someone in the mould of Crouse, Marcus Foligno, Adam Lowry, etc...

Potential trade bait from the Kings would be: Arthur Kaliyev, Jordan Spence, Sean Durzi, Alex Iaffalo, Trevor Moore, and any prospect not named Brandt Clarke.

Josh Anderson would seem to fit the bill.

Maybe expand it to something that also sends Edmundson as a LHD to replace Gavrikov if he walks? Send someone like Durzi as a RHD to Montreal, along with something else?

LAK: Durzi, +???

MTL: Anderson, Edmundson.

Would probably have to include Cal Petersen to make the cap work.

I'd definitely be down for a deal around Durzi for Anderson. Would definitely need to add cap going the other way maybe Iafallo or in a perfect world Petersen. I think Edmundson could be a good fit on the bottom pairing with Clarke.

Crouse is likely off thr list from arizona. He likely costs more than what Chychrun cost. The ask would be Byfield/Clarke+.. not spare parts.

Minnesota probably moves Foligno for prospect/ picks.

Anderson has 4 yrs left with a high cap hit. You will need to move salary out in another trade if they don’t want salary back.

It does seem to me like there's probably a deal to be made there somehow.

Kings want a Power Forward and probably need LHD. Habs have a power forward they could move and a bit of an overabundance of LHD. Could use a RHD with some offensive upside, which the Kings have in Durzi.

Anderson seems like such a Kings type player, and Durzi feels like he'd fit in well as a Canadien. Just a matter of balancing out the value and accommodating for the salary cap implications.

Kings fabs are praying that someone takes Durzi off their hands... Habs don't need other trams scraps.

We'd need a legit top4 potential RHD to challenge Barron and Mailloux, Durzi ain't it.

Durzi has his shortcomings, but he's a $1.7M RHD who can put together ~40pts and log 20 minutes a night on a playoff team. That's not nothing. He's also only 24, where he isn't necessarily completely done growing as a player.

He may be more of a #4D type, and he's never going to be a real "matchup/shutdown" pairing guy. But he's a natural RHD who has clear puck moving and offensive aptitude.

If the Habs hold out for a top-pairing caliber RHD...they're ultimately never going to find one. Teams don't trade those guys. So it's a matter of waiting to discover if Barron or Mailloux actually becomes that player for them. Neither seems super likely. But those are the players you have to draft and develop. You cannot trade for those guys.

That's a pass. Anderson is just fine where he is, no reason to move him unless it's an overpay which I doubt. Eddy can be moved at the TDL for a pick. No need to make this trade for the Habs.

You're going to have to offer up more than an Anderson level player to land that sort of player in return. Dollars to donuts you'll be wanting a guy who's age fits your rebuild

Good thing Habs are rebuilding and have the luxury to wait and see what Barron and Mailloux can do. Considering savard will stay as the 3rd pairing RHD.

Trading a PF with value for a dman that isnt better than what we have, and needing to take a cap hit like Petersen? The + coming back has to be a real good pick (1st) or a top prospect.

Just sign Bertuzzi. He may not be huge but he’s very physically effective. Does good work in tight spaces and battles for every puck, often winning. Has plus hands to boot and scores a ton within 5 feet of the net.

Foligno is probably available this summer. Minnesota could use some scoring depth with upside - Kaliyev, Kupari, Turcotte etc.
