If you're going after Pettersson, why did you trade Hagel? Part of the argument was Hegel will be too old for the next great hawk team.

I don't think Chicago would be involved w acquiring Pettersson.

Bytheway, Hagel is having himself a year.

Hagel would be nasty alongside Bedard.

But, they wouldn't have been able to get Bedard if they held on to a guy like Hagel.

I'd trade Seth in an Ed Monix type deal if his immovable contract wasn't a factor.

If I'm Vancouver I say no to that because I want the best piece in the return to be better than this. I'd demand one of Nazar or Levshunov.

You don't give up a center who has scored 100+ points and gets Selke votes for 2nd and 3rd best pieces/picks.

I would not include Nazar but your above combo with picks would be fine by me. maybe even an extra 2nd to sweeten the pot..Is it bad that I want Pettersson, but then still want to tank the rest of the season? If we trade KK I think its more imperative than ever to land Schaefer.

Nucks are backed into an absolute corner with this Pettersson/JT Miller situation. I really don't think they get as much as what you think he is perceived to be worth. Pettersson is signed to an absolutely massive contract with term and putting up numbers like a guy making 4mil per. The relationship between EP and JT is creating a hugely divisive situation on that team and they are going to be desperate to get rid of one. I personally think its going to be JT Miller and not EP

I agree, I'm not sure these hypotheticals matter as I also think it's Miller that'll be traded.

Would Seattle trade whichever of Shane Wright or Berkly Catton they like less for Korchinski? All their best prospects are Forwards
