Potential Tdl Adds We Can Get

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
There's always injuries in the playoffs. Zito learned that lesson from the 2023 run when we barely had a roster by the end. Last year we got pretty lucky but still had guys like Bennett and Barkov out for some time.

Our forward depth is stacked now, assuming Tkachuk will be healthy by playoffs. But our defense and goal depth are suspect. Really would've liked to add a bottom-3 dman, but the prices were crazy so I guess nothing we could've done there. No way to really replace Knight as the backup so I guess we just need to pray for Bob's good health.

I was kinda expecting ERod to be moved in a trade for someone. We have an embarrassment of riches for depth at forward.
I know a fair bit of people here want him to stay but it's either him or Luostarinen leaving in July IMO., if the goal is to keep Benny and Ekblad.
I'd prefer Luostarinen over ERod to stay.

Samoskevich needs more minutes next year and he can take some of ERods.
Plus, I think Sourdif needs to be in discussions of being promoted and given a part time role to which Samo got this year.

I believe Stonehandes will be traded this summer to make room for a potential Marchand signing !

3.5M for 3 years could entice the Rat to stay here a little longer and enjoy himself until retirement.

I’m not sure why you say that since he has already been on the 4th line several times this year.
Sure, but the regular season is very different than the playoffs. They’ve also ran the luostarinen-Lundell-Rodrigues line several times this season and they had success. But I could be wrong.

It’s good to have depth and options, no matter what they decide to go with it’ll be a good, deep roster so I’ll put my trust in coach Paul for whatever he decides to roll with

Yeah, I was expecting Mahura for a 4th. I don't know how roster works after the deadline, but maybe we would have had too many players up.

I think with the forward additions and with everyone being healthy, all of Greer - Nosek - Gadjovich lost their spots.
In playoffs though, if we happen to play the New York Rempes, Gadjo might get some games.

Why are we so good
Because we were SO BAD for like 75% of the team’s existence…so we DESERVE what we are witnessing now.

I paid thousands a year from 99 to 08 for season tickets. Over those summers, visiting Greece, I would drive 30 minutes frequently to a city nearby, so I can go to an Internet cafe and log in here to talk and fantasize about our team actually being who they are now. Like some others here, I’ve been getting up or staying up, until 1/2/5am to watch a shit product over and over, once I moved to Greece so I’m going to be selfish now and say I deserve what I’m witnessing now. And I still cry to this day watching us win last year, and knowing that my 87 year old mom, who was with me for most of the games when we had season tickets, got to witness us win! My dad too, because we were so bad those years, he got to come to MANY games for free lol

Exactly, we will probably need all 15 forwards if we make a deep run anyway. And we had a regular 14 forward rotation last year too in the playoffs.
