I assumed someone with photoshop skills could add a filter to make the actual players look bronze or stone.

But I suck with photoshop and not sure how much of an endeavor that is

How about the statues be for mundane achievements?

Iafallo for scoring two goals last night or for the amount of vowels in his last name
Durzi for a single successful defensive read
Kempe for his hair
Fiala for not joining a game when he moved to LA
Edler for not dying on the ice
Roy for scoring 9 goals
JAD for the hypen
Walker for not getting his by a meteor



We should also make it an animated .gif and have Oprah saying you get a statue, EVERYONE GETS A STATUE!!

Yeah...if someone has the photoshop skills to take a normal picture of a Kings player and make it look like a statue in front of the arena, you can then have a good amount of fun. Something like:

Frame 1 - Picture of Brown statue with 2022 playoff logo somewhere...maybe the theme is "Everyone Gets a Statue".
Frame 2 - Normal picture of player (let's say it is Danault) with something dumb like "54.1 FO %"
Frame 3 - That picture is turned into a statue...text with something like "Statue Worthy".

You can have stuff like "Byfield - 13:56 ATOI" or Matt Roy's blocked shot totals. Samuel Fagemo - 40% Shooting %.

Just spit balling. I'm an idea guy which means someone else do all of the work on this because I don't know the first thing about how to make these.

I think it’s doable but I like the idea of using random statues considering how bad browns is in person lol

Not to derail the thread but Ryan Whitney said the Kings don't have a top 50 player in the league. I like Chiclets but both if those guys can be complete dimwits at times.

I remember some other team did king portraits a few years ago - or maybe a decade ago - (and I don't remember why). I like the statues or the "fake" thing.

But I think statues are the best, and Lt. Dan already gave us a sampling of some of the great places we can go (I mean, Chet from Weird Science?). Also, I don't normally troll the main board, but I couldn't resist with that statue thread - so it speaks to me.
