Not a whole list, but Corey Pronman recently stated that if you combined the 2024 and 2025 drafts at the top he’d have it 1) Celebrini 2) Hagens 3) Martone 4) Levshunov. So I think Martone is probably the early favorite for #2 overall. Stud power forward who’s gonna have team drooling over him.

Personally, I like @GermanSpitfire ‘s list a lot, especially the top-7.

Victor Eklund is basically a right-handed clone of his brother, so I expect him to rise into the teens over the course of the year if he keeps progressing. Fun little player, was probably Sweden’s best at the U18 (where Frondell was injured).

Fantastic list as always. I gotta ask though, do people just not think Lynden Lakovic is any good, or is his omission more to do with the mysterious undisclosed suspension last year? Because with an increased role on the Warriors I wouldn’t be surprised if this would be a profile teams take in the early 2nd

He’s great, and I agree if things pan out, he’s exactly what teams are looking for, but that’s from a pure hockey perspective. He just has question marks behind him and I want to see them answered for.

It’s wait and see for me, personally.

Czech prospects are underrated in your list (certainly from the current perspective), but Skok is by no means the best Czech prospect. Even though it's late '06, he hasn't even made the U18 Championship, he's a subpar prospect and might not even get drafted. Undoubtedly, there are far better players, despite the worse second half of the season, it is certainly Benák, and there would be other players, including Pekař, who is listed below.

Carter Amico is a player that I think is going to rise a lot on lists throughout next season. I like him more than Trethewey easily, and maybe more than Hensler for the American defensemen. If his offense comes along enough, I could see him as a top 5 pick and the next Mo Seider.

I see his floor as where you see Emery on 2024 lists. He's also two inches taller than Emery, so I definitely see him being a player who will generate a lot of interest next season.

I obviously haven’t watched every single player in the class, yet so although there is some excitement behind a guy like Ravensberg, I haven’t seen him play yet so that’s why he isn’t here. I assume that’s who you’re alluding to.

As for Reschny, it’s his size. I am not very high on any of the small guys, even if they have a ton of skill. LJ Mooney is the highest ranked and he is still in the twenties even though he showed that he is able to play beyond his size this season and Benak isn’t included for similar reasons. I think as the season progresses, you’ll see the skilled smaller guys settle in around the second round.

Benak is too small. He’ll hear his name called but like many, many skilled small players before him it’s something that will limited him on draft day

I shouldn’t have even included Skok, since he is 2026 but in any case, I see it as a weaker year for the Czech’s - will fix the error.

Hensler is not close to 2nd overall in my opinion, I didn’t like his u18 at all

The basis of that team is made up of players (yes, Novotný goes to the draft only a year later) who had the best results in the U17 category and played the best hockey that I can remember. It is true that everything can be different for Czech teams in a few months (as we saw, for example, at the U18 vs HGC championship), but right now the team and its players are a great hope for the future. I don't remember so many good forwards in one team.

Yeah Skok as a top 40 pick and the best Czech for this draft is a joke, no other way to put. Skok's ranking would suggest he is similiar quality to Jiricek/Galvas and far better than Fibigr/Svozil... :huh:
