After the Women's match, I actually said to some people that Mania was good "so far".

I totally jinxed it.

What i take from Bray's interview with Sam is

-Bray doesn't know where the hell his character is going and neither does the company
-Seems like Bray and Harper are close and Bray was really PO'd after harper told him he "broke his leg"
-Bray says him and Lesnar will meet down the line "and i will give him my body and soul and hope he doesn't kill me"

It sounds like he legit wants a reset to what it was in NXT.

Why didn't Vince even come out during the HIAC? He was 90% of the build for the Shane match in the first place. It was so weird that he wasn't even part of that match in some way.

What if he pulled Taker from the table as Shane went through it? ANYTHING.

HIAC match with their jobs on the line? nah

At least HHH not getting involved this year made sense, he was busy getting ready to defend his championship, it would have been ok if HIAC was after the Chmapionship match to have HHH come down.

Was there last night. Let's just say this was probably my last Mania in person unless Vince leaves.

Cool stuff happened and it was kinda cool to experience it live but it felt like a waste of time. Vegas would have been a better use of a trip for me. When you have herds of people leaving before the main event that's a problem. When your top guy gets the most heat for being on the screen it's a problem. Shame since the 1st hour and a half was good, then Ambrose and Brock stunk it up and it went downhill.

Shoulda known better.

but no Vince? no Steph? no J&J? no Kane? no one? why?

this whole thing was just a weird setup for that one spot they'll show in video packages for the next 30 years... Booking for moments instead of booking storylines is just terrible. Let the moments come

Along those same lines, Cena needed to run out and save Rock from a Wyatt Family beatdown, but had no interest in helping Shane win to remove the Authority which exactly what he was trying to do just last year.

It just feels so weird. (kayfabe) You go from calling your own child an SOB and putting him inside the worst structure to not even coming out for the match that you booked. Because realistically, Vince was on the line, too, since he said Raw basically WAS WWE.

So stupid. So dumb.

Do you REALLY need to stack the deck against Shane McMahon when he's facing the Undertaker? Realistically Taker would only look weak if he had help.

Though I suppose Vince could've come out to watch.

J&J have been gone since Seth was injured, Kane hasn't been corporate Kane for a while now. Steph was with HHH helping him prepare for his match. Vince is really the only one I'd expect to have interfered at that point during the event (again with this not main eventing)

I think the only way Vince could have helped the Undertaker without making the Undertaker lose any sort of credibility would have been to pull him off the table when Shane was jumping.

Btw is it just me or did it look like Shane didn't exactly land on the inflatable pad under the table?

I thought the HIAC match was what everyone expected it to be in the first place. The only difference was there wasn't a run in by anyone. I'm fine with it.

The only problem I had with the match was that it didn't go on last. Imagine if Shane was booked to win in that same time slot. We wouldn't have gotten that long monologue from Steph during HHH's entrance. :sarcasm:

Yeah, there really is no thought process in the shows nowadays. There's no story to tell really, it all just feels mailed in. There's so much talent in the WWE nowadays, you could have a feud with an elaborate storyline, then have one just based on wrestling. I mean you could have such a variety on this show and it could be fantastic if they had proper direction, it's a crying shame really.

I also feel some of these bookings are a result of the Road Dogg theory that it doesn't actually matter who wins or loses

The Women's Championship match was really awesome. Bumps Trish/Mickie out of the top spot for WM women's matches for me. Loved Sasha wearing the Eddie Guerrero inspired ring gear.

Big gripes for me;

Really, really wasted appearances from The Rock, and Stone Cold.

Chris Jericho (who jobs out to everybody, even Fandango at WM no less) can't lose to AJ Styles at WM? Flashbacks to them making Sting lose to Triple H last year.

Shane vs. Undertaker was exactly what I expected, and that's not a good thing. Though props to Shane for taking that bump.

This was a pretty terrible mania. On par with WM 27.

Oh no, it matters who wins or loses, just in the case of WWE only one guy winning matters.

Seriously, look at the results and tell me it wasn't a really lame attempt to cement Reigns as the central pillar of WWE.

Literally everyone (sans the women, but that has an agenda behind that too. Don't be mistaken) on that card gained nothing except for Reigns. Ambrose? Undercut to look like a punching bag. Lesnar? Still the same ol beast, who will likely lose to Roman. Shane? One and done with no purpose. the Wyatts? Beaten to a pulp and made to look like geeks. Styles? Momentum cooled by a part timer who put friggin Fandango over like 4 years ago.

This is the same company who has some of the best talent in the world (AJ, Nakamura, high probability Ibushi at some point, Aries, etc) and yet none of them stand a chance in the shadow of the mighty Roman Empire.

That show was the literal embodiment of "One vs all."

I don't agree with Styles losing last night. I guess they're going for a best-of-5 or even 7, but I'm over these matches. Jericho just can't go at the pace AJ can anymore. AJ slowly down as much as he has is severely limiting what he can do.

ambrose had no bussiness winning. so im okay with the result, however he got beat up the entire feud and the match was just boring.

overall, i enjoyed the "wrestling" part as a fan. but the whole booking was a total mess. from the results to the guests, nothing made much sense.

its all about where they go from now, but not gonna get my hopes up. they can do alot with Ryder over comming odds, but you all are almost reporting he's gonna drop it tonight so what is the point?

why was nikki dressed in her gear with like a broken neck?
the rock fighting just to get a record was dumb and a waste of time no matter how fast it went.
shane bringing his kids to die infront of him... ok.
shaq....?!

i was so hammered last night and i still was yelling at what was going on.

thank you divas.

Yes, working with the rock at wrestlemania even if for a brief time while you are so injured they won't even put you in the battle royal, is way worse than just being off the show entirely in fear of "burial"

I'm sure he agrees with you.

Has anyone that's ever been in these kinds of segments with Austin and Rock ever actually been helped? I just remember those people being the likes of Simon Dean and Santino Marella. Can someone give me a real-life example of a guy getting laid out that became a bigger star?
