We all knew this would happen (well some of us), so why did Chevy have to give him that stupid contract? Now we're stuck with Wheeler another 4 years.Every great athlete eventually has to bow to Father Time. He always wins no matter what.
When it comes to Wheeler, it looks like Father Time grabbed Wheeler and kicked him in the nards .
I wouldn't say emotionally withdrawn, they made a lot of mental mistakes.
Tavares has Matthews to take the other time, Winnipeg has ???
Easily be 1 and 4 with efforts like tonight's tho. Ottawa works hard.. something Jets don't do consistently
If they weren’t all that impressive, what were we? They were a much better team than us tonight.Leaf's were not all that impressive tonight considering all that firepower, they will play well in the regular season and be gone in the first round
Slow slow slow
They also had two additional games to work out a lot of their kinks. We still look to be finding our way which isn't surprising given it was game two for us.
Here’s a fair and measured response to the game.
If i’m PoMo, I’m drawing up bag skate drills for next practice. I dont care how many games they have coming up.
That looked like an emotionally withdrawn team with conditioning issues to me.

To be honest, I don't see a lot different from last season. Jets never play 60 minutes. Almost no physical play. The coach just keeps doing the same thing by overplaying 55 and 26.
We aquired a big shiny 2c
Was he? He won most of his puck battles and looked more NHL ready than Niku.
Yup, the fact we even hung in this game I’m surprised, I was expecting much worse result without Laine, DeMelo, Jack and on the road and only our 2nd game.
Lol yes. Without Roslovic.. Jesus Christ... Putting Roslo who is done as a Jet in the same group as Demelo and Laine Is interesting.
At least compare his ice time to Matthews.Taveres 17 min
sheif 26 min.
I just don’t understand
I agree. Its a combination of things. Maybe emotionally withdrawn is the wrong term, but Imo emotion was a factor. Particularly Scheif and Wheels (guys that typically generate energy by playing with their heart on their sleeve).I wouldn't say emotionally withdrawn, they made a lot of mental mistakes.

Correct. Jets decided to play one period tonight. The rest of the game they were floating around, just going through the motions.I'm out in Alberta...
I choose to put in the extra effort to see and work with My clients...
I hedged on catching the game late...
Seems I showed up to play and hedging on the Jets was the right choice...
I missed almost the whole game...
Is it fair to say the Jets by and large didn't show up to play... ?
