They don't love/like the team as much as we do, even though for some unknown reason we think that. For some players, it's also not about winning, but regardless, Winnipeg has a pretty good team on paper.
Damn Euros.

How about returning to the team that just got to the Finals last year instead of languishing on a team that has zero guarantees of getting close to even sniff the playoffs?
Setoguchi would be perfect, if he doesn't cost too much.
Let's hope Minnesota has a short memory and doesn't remember the pile of crap Lou sent them last season.
I don't mean to keep harping on the same point... but you can't assume that a guy that played for 5 teams in 3 seasons has any sense of loyalty. Especially at this point in his career.
It's not about LOYALTY. It's about OPPORTUNITY to *WIN*.
With NJ, he is basically going to have great opportunities to make the playoffs and go deep.
With Winnipeg, not so much.
Tedenby + Conditional 3rd (If we make the ECF) + Scrub AHLer
In all honesty. Tallinder for Seto sounds good

Zidlicky did exactly what he needed to do for us last season.
The PP was much better, the puck movement was essential in the playoffs.
That trade was worth every piece of crap sent over.
I don't think he's been any worse than anyone else in the lineup over these 8 games, though.
I'm not much of a fan of Dorsett. And Columbus seems to like him a lot.How about a guy that is off the radar? Dorsett from Columbus. I know it's probably not realistic but he would look good in Black & Red.
if setoguchi cant score with the players/system in minnetonka, hes not going to here. hell continue to be streaky, and we will simply shift our frustration to another player. him.
Does Minnesota play a similar system to us? Zidlicky seemed to hate it there under Yeo and has been fine here.

Yeo is the most nervous looking coach I've seen on a bench that currently coaches in the NHL. He constantly looks like he doesn't know what he's doing, and looks like he's in distress and would like some help.
Watch him on the bench during the next Wild game. Sometimes you can see him sweat.
I don't think Setoguchi is available either. Not unless the Wild drop out of the playoff picture. They need all the scoring they can get right now, and Setoguchi is one of few who can do that.
... two third round draft picks who have never produced more than Mattias Tedenby at the AHL level and never produced anything at the NHL level? There's a player or two on the Blue's Roster that I think would be sleepers for us to trade for & could very well be had. Moreover, not only Kovy would love having either one or both as a teammate, but would also help us size-wise on the team. I'm referring to Evgeny Grachev & Sergey Andronov. Both are big, Russian kids that can chip in goals & play in front of the net.
That means we need to add some more forwards so that third line can go back to being the fourth line and the fourth line can become a third line worthy of the title.Something needs to happen. Josefson also needs to get off the 4th line.
