I just vomited in my mouth a little.

I don't like the guy either but the second he would score for us, that hatred would subside a bit. I want the team to get better, not hold grudges that Lou isn't either.

I don't care who he's played for, only that he can help the Devils win.

I'm pretty sure that guys like Lou would agree. Minus a couple very strong examples.

See I didn`t swallow anything that day, but man, Williams? Really?

I guess I could live with it, I just don`t want to.

Also, it`s funny how that LA fan didn`t mention struggling Gagne BUT did mention Williams, who was arguably their 2nd best player against the Ducks. lol

Garbage my ass.

I was just throwing a name out there. Give me a productive top-6 winger and maybe a top-9 brute who can play and I'm happy.

I would take Justin Williams. Isn't he a Jersey boy?

I could see him and Elias having chemistry.

Williams is born and raised in my hometown of Cobourg, Ontario. only good player to come out of here other that Shane o'brien, and score on your own net Steve Smith.

I'd love him on the Devils, i always used to trade him here on my games anyways

Possibly another on the Columbus blueline

Aaron Portzline ‏@Aportzline
#CBJ D John Moore left practice w lower body injury. Being checked by trainers now.

They might want a proven vet so that Johnson isn't playing 2/3 of the game.
Just another potential partner to throw into the mix...

Just throwing it out there, for fun... Would a Larsson to Edmonton deal, involving one of their young stars, would be worth considering?

Let's just say that Edmonton wants to add another bluechip prospect in exchange for one of their 4 stud forwards (RNH, Hall, Eberle and Yakupov), would this fanbase go bananas or would you welcome "player x" with open arms and be happy about our situation?

Again, this is just for fun, so relax if it makes a couple of posters lose their minds ;)

I'd do it for Eberle, Edmonton wouldn't though.

@TSNRyanRishaug: Looks like Ryan Whitney a healthy scratch tonight.

Doesnt involve us but still

Despite what the fans say, they'll go searching for help sooner rather than later.
That top 6 is too easily knocked off the puck to not get a gritty defenseman or two added in there.

I honestly think I'd do it, regardless of the player coming back our way.

- RNH would be filthy alongside Kovy.
- Hall would give us that secondary scoring we were looking for when we only had Parise and no one else.
- Eberle... He'd be my 1st choice.
- Yakupov, well I think he'll be a stud for the next decade+.

I love Larsson and I think he'll turn out as a very solid player down the road but I wouldn't be all that upset if we were able to land one of those 4 players in return, knowing all the depth we have on D.

I'm worried about the + we would have to add I doubt Larsson alone would get us any of them but I agree I would be tempted to do it as much as I love Adam.

I would do it for any of them. Yakupov would bring his game to another level playing with Kovy. Hall is a Parise replacement. RNH and Kovy makes sense. Eberle is nasty.

Yes please lol

That's a blockbuster though, I mean, how often do you see a REALLY huge trade like that?

Wow, I'd love it though. Larsson, Tedenby, conditional 2nd rounder for whatever year RNH's RFA is up, becomes 1st if he resigns here 5+ years for RNH + conditional pick (if we send our 1st their way, we get their 3rd). I would have liked that to be EDM's 2nd, but I don't think they'd go for that.

I know it's a crazy conditional, but that's the kind of strange thing a trade like that would have to entail to even remotely be worthwhile for EDM, IMHO.

Edit - His ELC ends 2014. We might be forced into giving that pick up cause of the Kovy thing. So... this trade would need some work.

Wow... I thought I was going to get crucified for proposing such a thing, guess not

Devils need to do something quick....If at any point of the season Steve Bernier is your second leading goal scorer, you've got some problems.

Hey, Bernier was picked before Parise, so I don't see your point :sarcasm:

To be completely honest. Any of the 4 from EDM could entice me. I just like RNH the most

Draft positioning is everything in HF

Edit: Wild fans say they would do Seto + 2nd for Volchenkov and if we take 1 million of his salary we get a 3rd . Sounds pretty good to me . If only this guy was the Wild GM. Then we put Seto in the Top 6, and flip a 2nd or 3rd for 3rd line forward.

What about Setoguchi+2nd/B prospect for Volchenkov? And the Devils retain 1 or 2M for a 3rd?

I would not give up Larsson+ for anything.

Larsson alone I might entertain for a few guys. But if we're going to give him up I am absolutely NOT adding anything else to the package.
