So if Fluto was accurate the arbitrator has until then today.

Friedman didn’t have years. With Swayman filing wouldnt it make sense the Bruins would choose 2 years given he’d be RFA after?

Not if they want to lock him up long term next year, no.

And its always 1 year unless 2 is specified

Did Friedman say that somewhere other than Twitter? His main Swayman tweet doesn't mention the years.

Would be very unusual for any team to select a one year arbitration when the player would still be a RFA after two years.


edit: seems like it is a one year award. Wonder if Boston did that to keep the AAV lower this season, or out of a interest in potentially re-signing him earlier?
