I think you are underestimating Zub and Jensen. When healthy, Ottawa top 4 has been really good. Sanderson is the best D-man on either team by a pretty large margin.

Matinpalo & Kleven have been OK in there role.

The only problem with Ottawa's D is that when they aren't healthy, Hamonic plays in the top 4 and he a is dumpster fire.

I never made any comment on Ottawa's defense so I am not sure what you are basing that off of? lol

Sens have a better top end of there defense...Leafs probably have more depth on defense. I think it is a 6 or 7 game series that gets won or lost on the margins and breaks one way or another.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them reach the Finals if they beat Tampa. I have no faith in any of the Metro teams.

Uniformed people. Leafs have the heaviest and biggest roster in the nhl and 12 different players have fighting majors this season. We block a ton of shots, they hit, they box out strongly.

It will take them winning for people to stop with it

The answer to the original question is, not if they end up playing Florida. That team will feast on the Leafs. They didn't even have Tkachuk, Bennett and Ekblad the other night and it was an embarrassment. Our best hope as Leafs fans is to have Tampa and Florida beat the hell out of each other in the first round and hope Tampa wins.

I'm gonna say conference final appearance as well. Not because they're hard to play against but luck just rolls with them this time.

That just seems like an odd place to stop. If they get past potentially both of Tampa and Florida, they lose to.. a shitty team from the Metro or Montreal? Might as well have them losing in the finals to Colorado or Vegas at that point.

For the record I'd be surprised if they got past Ottawa/Florida, and shocked if they got past Tampa/Florida.
