Sorry, GARY sutter, my bad.

JJ is obvious though.

And as I remember, in the U-18s last year a US player checked a Canadian player into the boards from behind last year at the end of a game?

I could be wrong on that last one though.

Yes. Two were bad split decisions, one was a premediated attack. I'll see if you can figure out which, because that's my last post on the subject.

Yeah, I'm sure JJ wasn't thinking about doing that all game to Downie, if you've every played hockey before, you know people take numbers.

Either way, you're a hypocrite. :handclap:

Quoted so you don't try to delete the unnecessary and uncalled for personal attack.

Well Epislon......sounds like you would fit perfect in the Vancouver crowd booing the American Team!!

I am first and foremost a Albertan.......you have a problem with that?? Tough boobie!!

And you sound like an Anti American American....how original!!!

I am Pro American and Pro Albertan!!! Deal with it!! :p:

It's apples and oranges. Downie, a known dirty player, gets glanced by an elbow. Doesn't miss a game.

Bertuzzi slowly skates up behind Moore, as if sneaking up on him, and mugs him. Moore's career is effectively ended.

But yeah, they're the same.

I'm Canadian and voted for Russia... but after reading some replies from the sour grapes in this thread I hope Canada wins :D

You live in Canada yet rather be in the USA?

What are you waiting for? ;)

That seriously makes no sense! How would you react if we got treated that way last year in the US? As I recall Canadian fans or no Canadian fans...the final was pretty loud in Canada's favor last year. As I recall most Americans were cheering for Canada due to Ovechkin!

I live in Alberta..........big difference......no need to move to the States....

Love America and Love Alberta and Western Canada.....the east can go.....well lets just leave it at that shall we :handclap:

I lost all respect for the US program when they trashed their hotel room at the olympics a few odd years ago.

Truthfully, I usually cheer for Canada against any country not including my own.
But I wouldn't mind seeing Russia win, and it has nothing to do with the American team's reception in Vancouver.

It has more to do with me not being a fan of Sutter.

That was a shameful act. Made me embarassed to be an American hockey fan at that moment. I was really angry about that.

It was embarrassing. If I had my way, none of the guys involved would have played for Team USA ever again. I didn't really follow the SLC hockey tournament because I was disappointed the US included a couple of them again.

no one has even complained that people are cheering against Canada!

I don't know if I speak for all Canadians, but personally I like it when everyone cheers against us, it just means we've kicked everyones asses more often than not.

Any other year? Canada.

This year? Russia, for sure. I'd love nothing more than a lot of broken hearts from the fans who so eagerly booed the American team the entire tournament.

Agreed, the fans there deserve to see their team shelled and taunted. And this is coming from a guy who wanted to see Canada win the Gold before all of this crap. Too bad that my opinion has changed from an arena full of idiots, but I'm a stubborned SOB!!! BTW-Broken hearts don't do it for me, silence would truly be golden in this situation!!! Booing the Russians after they taunt Canada would also be music to my ears!!! As if the US players stand for their government??? Or the Canadain players stand for their Vancouver fans for that matter!!! :sarcasm:

Sad but true.........

This is very strange for me because I love Canada, like the Canadian team, and do not like the Russian team. However, I voted Russia. I just do not like the BC crowd and do not think they deserve the pleasure of seeing their team win gold. I'd rather see the team they cheered for so hard the other night win and see Russia win gold on Canadian soil. Plus it will be much easier putting up with a few Russian fans on these boards gloating, instead of the masses of Canadians gloating and rubbing it in on how the USA was a disappointment (which they will still do anyway).

Do you have any left for Team USA with naming Jack Johnson and GARY Suter?
I have no problem with Johnson, but I do with Suter. And what about the Americans who destroyed the hotel rooms in Nagano?

The Vancouver fans were pathetic and it would serve as good karma if Russia won this game and our neighbours to the south(And best friends I might add) would be well within their rights to cheer for once their most hated enemy over Canada.

I always...in any event cheer for the USA if Canada isn't there. Hopefully the dolts who booed in Vancouver haven't spoiled the US-Canada for some of our friends.

I've been rooting for Russia, Sweden, and Finland the whole way and usually do, so I'm rooting for Russia.
