Who are you guys cheering for? Typically I'd cheer for Canada, but Malkin is a Pens prospect and I'd like to see him lead his team to gold.

Canada?
I am rooting for Canada because I am partial to the North American player.Steve Latin said:Who are you guys cheering for? Typically I'd cheer for Canada, but Malkin is a Pens prospect and I'd like to see him lead his team to gold.

Canada?
I feel pretty much the same way.tape-2-tape said:I'd have to say niether . Nothing personal, but I maybe it is, I'd have a hard time cheering for the team which it's fans were constantly riding my team to the point of ridiculous.
This wasn't a result of Johnson, it was something much deeper and more personal which started before that team even stepped foot on that ice. I have always wanted either of the N. American teams to win over any other non N. American team but the bad taste in my mouth won't allow for that this year and who knows how long before I feel that way again.
I didn't mean to start another locked-up thread regarding this and I'm hoping that people can just discuss this like adults and not some clueless rambling...well, you know.
Best of luck to both teams as they earned and deserve the right to play for the gold but you lost one who would've supported you Canada.

Nice try Path, but I'll give you that one.Pathfinder said:Says that Canada is the underdog
