Who do you prefer we play in R3?

Their weak spot seems to be defense. If Ceci is your No.3 in terms of ice time, then your defensive core is probably not deep enough.

Tired of the narrative that the Stars are this deep team and a contender every year. They are a good team but every year they fizzle out because their top players don't contribute enough and they get no depth scoring. Without Rantanen these playoffs they would be golfing. As you said, their other top guys are doing nothing. Dallas is slow and their playstyle is like the Kings. Game opens up they are dead in the water. That's why I think EDM matches up well with them. Speed kills.
You don’t make it to the conference final 3 years in a row if you aren’t a contender imo.

They are going to be a very tough out.

If the lineups stay the same as they just finished ( and I can't see why they would change), that means that both of the Oilers big off season free agent forwards will be sitting out. 7 million in cap. But we continue to roll. Mind boggling.

Not ideal obviously but having players like that ready to jump in is a nice luxury. I still think Skinner scores a big goal.

I'm not sure. They shut down WPG hard. Harley has emerged as a bonafide #1. That means one of him and Heisk will pretty much be on the ice at all times.

If you’re referring to the SCF, they lost their first three games, including two on the road.
lol thanks tips. My point is that they played very well in Florida. Completely outplayed them in game 1. Should've won game 3. Regardless, they've been through it before, and understand what it takes, so I don't think they'll come out slow.

I'm more concerned about players healing up from injuries. Buys Ekholm and Pickard some more time and I'm fairly certain that Draisaitl is playing with some lingering injuries, possibly some other players like McDavid and Hyman too.
I thought Leon was hurt but watching him live he doesn't look too bad. He might be a little hurt, but I think it's being over blown.

Unfortunately I think he's just in a little slump of fumbling pucks and stuff.

Gonna get a lot of mileage outta this this series.
