The mobile trading card game released in October is hugely popular and hugely addictive. It's got people hungry for the real thing, so they spend a few bucks on the app, decide it's better to spend their money on actual cards, and there they go.I took my girlfriend to renew her car insurance. The insurance place is right across from a Gamestop. There was, no exaggeration, a line around the block.
I couldnt think of what video game had been released that would cause such a stir. I rolled down the window and asked/shouted ‘what game came out today?’
They looked at me quizzically. I asked ‘what are you lining up for?’
‘Pokemon cards’
Every so often, Im reminded how massive this IP is.
