i think this is a whole different result if we don't give up that softy at 0.7.
I think so. Pens go from, "How are we going to beat Bob" to "Hey, Bob is beatable" and it gaved them hope. Even though we went up 3-1, probably had the same mind set, "Bob is beatable and we have lots of time to comeback".

Also, was it just me or was it a piss poor attempt to clear the puck right before they scored? Even an icing would have been better. Also, Atkinson going down to block the shot:cry: Orpik walked around him.

Back from the game. Well, another game with the Pens, another blown lead (in epic fashion I might add) and another loss before a sell-out.

Bottom line is after the Jackets took the 3-1 lead they quit playing and just became spectators watching the Pens show them how a skill team can turn it on. After about the 10 minute mark of the first we were hanging on, but the boys took it to another lower lvl in the third. Stop skating against the Pens and kiss the game goodbye.

They should be desperate on Weds. I look for the win, and a game 6 next Monday.

Why?
I got a feeling that the building will
Be the same

Makes no sense as the tickets were already sold. He's been pretty negative for quite a while now (months). Not sure what that is about.

I don't think we're going to see a bunch of people try and sell their tickets - we're only down 2-1.

A win Wednesday and it's tied 2-2, and it's a best of three series

Part of being a young team, we've gotten and blown a lot of leads this year . And for the love if god, can Pittsburgh quit getting goals hitting their players to the side of the net. Proud of this team this year , and I credit Dubinsky being a big part of the culture change here

Simply put, almost everything after the first 2 goals was an embarrassment to the franchise. Really hope Richards tears the team apart after the game. They need to wake up and realize that they've blown it. This could easily be a 2-1 series for CBJ and potentially a 3-0 series. It's not and now CBJ is hanging on.

These kids to be be motivated for more than 20 minutes. If will wants to be skill, then will has to show up for 60 minutes. Flashes of brilliance are there, they just need to be more than flashes.

Our fans can't quit that early in a series can they? Unless they are closet Pitt fans

This isn't over. This series has been so screwy that there's always hope as lone as we haven't lost four games.

That said, the third period tonight was a disaster.

It's part of the learning process. We've seen this same thing quite a few times during the regular season.

We know that we've got work to do with the roster.

A veteran, top four shutdown defenseman would do wonders for this club next season.

I didn't get the calls on Joey and Jenner, but after the call on Foligno I turned the game off. I don't watch something I don't understand. It looked like the rule book had been rewritten with every shift. I know the Pens didn't score on the PP, but permanent penalty killing wears a team down, it takes your energy away, and it seems like in the 3rd the Jackets just ran out of energy. I expected it and didn't want to watch it, even though I still was hoping for a win. Now I gonna laugh every time someone says that the NHL officials are unbiased and the best in the world.

I've never felt so sick. How the crowd was so behind them, through thick and thin, through all the ******** calls, through all the highs and the eventual lows. We were even going nuts with loud chants and loud heckles towards Fleury and other Pens, it's like the Jackets didn't even care or get any energy off of it. Other than the first 10 minutes of the first and the first 3 minutes of the 3rd, it was all Pittsburgh.

What the **** Bob. That Orpik goal five hole? Seriously? He played a mostly great game, but he **** his pants when it mattered. Yes there was bad bounces and yes he was getting little support and under siege. But my god. That first goal.

This is why the team has no captain. Nobody took control, until really Dubi's Gretzky shift at the end, and said "This is not going to happen. Not again." They all looked like lost puppies. Tyutin means more to the team than I thought. Seriously, it's like we resorted to regular season play in the 3rd period.

I honestly feel sick, and I can't bring myself to watch anymore hockey tonight. I'd rather watch basketball.

There's a saying the players and coaches use a lot. You can benefit from it. Don't let your highs get too high and your lows get too low. All 5-7 games of this series are going to be white knucklers.

As the guy who stood next to me in the elevator said, "I've been a season ticket holder for 10 years, and I keep seeing the same ****."
