Feels like our management group almost feels the same about Liljegren that Babcock did about Holl.
I mean like..... Whats the plan here? just going to let him rot?
Atleast give the kid a chance beyond 1 or 2 games.
It should be very simple at this point with Liljegren. either play him or include him in a bigger trade or something

Yeah I don't get it at all. Maybe Keefe has an issue with him or it's about going for it which has worked well.

I have no qualms with our new faces and no qualms with our depth. our best players have to be our best players. simple as that. they have the support and they get big money. time to put up or shut up imho.

I guess my rating also takes in consideration the potential of the team.

it was cap related .. 100% .. they had to account for his possible performance bonuses on the cap ... was worth close to 400,000 if i recall ...

You know what's funny, guys? One of Kyle's recently signed free agents will almost certainly meet or exceed the highest season point total of Zach Hyman (41).
 
Dubas gets an F in every category until we at least win a playoff round. Guilty until proven innocent. I don't care how good his moves look on paper, we need results on ice.

That isn’t the question asked in the thread or the point of the poll. It is how he did on his moves, and based on your response - on paper it’s not all bad. The team has always been on paper quite good and destined to win, the performance has been otherwise.

Many leaf fans get excited with "new" and confuse "new" with good ... most people on here have No clue who Bunting, Kase or Ritchie are or what they are capable of, except for a few SC highlight reports. I absolutely have no clue who Bunting is, Kase I've heard of and seen him play but not enough to have formed an opinion and Ritchie I know because he was the guy we passed up to pick Willie.

We have a horrid left side, we have 4 players who are either fringe NHLer's, last chance NHLer's, soon to be last chance NHLer's or I'm only here because I have a low cap hit NHLer's. If Bunting can keep that 20%+ shooting from last year, he should be good, if Kase can stay healthy he should be good, if Sandin can take that next step he will be good, if Mrazek can stay healthy he should be good. Lot's of "if's" that need to be true for us to have a successful year.

Agreed, Kase is about a half a point a game player, if he can stay healthy he has a good chance to be around 40 points, Ritchie would have to have an amazing start to come near 40.

If I was a betting man would it be safe to say our Free agent season next year will be dominated by signings from 2015 draft year? Is that the math Dubie puts behind his UFA list? Current year - 7 years = can't miss ?... LOL ;)
