I don't think it's likely Detroit catches anyone besides Philly. Wings either play the Caps or they don't make the playoffs. Either way the difference will only be eight'ish extra days of hockey.

I really doubt the Wings are going to magically transform into a brand new team over the last eleven games of the season. What you see is what you get.

That would be so laughable, If Detroit just missed the playoffs and got the 14th seed and got the 1% lottery chance of getting the #1 overall pick and getting Matthews man there would be a lot of pissed off teams out there.

Tampa is playing Arizona right now, So it all depends on what happens tonight. I'm definitely rooting for the Coyotes to upset the Lightning and hopefully the Islanders lose as well.

Those percentages are so meaningless. Basically every single game anyone plays changes it by like 20% now, win or lose. All you can do is take care of business.

I think it is goaltending.
People say we were riding hot goaltending, but so do the others teams too. If we can get solid goaltending, we make playoffs easily.

A rematch between Tampa-Detroit is starting to become more and more likely. If we win against tampa we're just 1 point behind le bruins.

Not quite sure if I even like that, they're still a really good team, on paper though wings look better this season compared last season, but that hasn't really translated on the ice yet.

Wish 1 - Get into the playoffs and anything can happen.
Wish 2 - Get more wins to favor your chances at a better matchup - I agree that Tampa would be a better match than the high-flying Caps.
Wish 3 - Get some playoff experience for the kids (Larkin, Athanasiou, Mantha, Jurco, Pulkkinen).

The games we lost in March we allowed 5, 4, 5, 1 and 4 goals. 19 goals in 5 games, 3,8 GAA per game.
And everybody on the board knows that Mrazek who was great for us struggled and had to be replaced by Howard.

I didn't know that. But it does not change the point. Mrazek was not as sharp as he used to be earlier the season, while Howard has played better.
