Montreal just went through a FIVE games losing streak and they are still in a playoff spot. How is that even possible

They are due for a hot streak at just the right time. Confidence is high against the Panthers and then we face a weakened Boston team.

Habs has no excuses anymore. The four teams chasing them are all in the top 10 for hardest remaining schedule. The habs top 5 for easiest schedule. Most of their games are at home, where they play better. And they're currently in the wildcard spot going into the next stretch

You might be right. I wanted to say "except NYI" but Sorokin sure looks like he can carry (Price) his team far if he gets in the PO this year

Boston is not a trap game we have had a very hard time beating them and we know it.
The only chance we have is if we can keep up the energy we displayed in Florida.
Suzuki is the key whatever they have to do to make sure he is rested has to be done.
There is a huge difference in the outcome when Suzuki has his legs.

I think the Blues will pass Minnesota and then they will play Vegas

Goaltending will only get better next season as I’m sure SOMEBODY will give Monty less starts. Even before we get the likely upgrades.

Really hope Reinbacher’s okay. He’s such huge piece.

I am still pessimistic about the end result. They gonna miss the Playoffs by a handful of points. These last six games have shown the good and the very bad weaknesses on this team.

Most likely.....But here's some hopes since we are in the positivity thread.
Habs has only played 3 of their last 12 games at home, it affect perceptions

The Habs are 16-18-4 on the road but they are 18-12-5 at home

Habs have 6 of their last 9 games at home.
Since the 4 nations, the Habs are 5-0-1 at home.

4-5 Colorado OT
6-3 Ottawa
3-1 Panthers
4-3 Sabres
4-3 Sharks
4-0 Carolina

I think the Habs have the best schedule out of those remaining considering the strenght of opponent and the home game, we only have one back to back while most of those in the race has 2 back to back left.

It will be close no matter what.....but I have some faith.

Honestly as awkward as Dobes looks in net cold, I feel like him and Monty at 1a 1b would be killer. He's just cold now from riding bench so he looks a little weird.

Its unlikely but maybe Fowler could do a Carey Price and come in hot. Its a possibility
