Does anyone have an answer to why HFBoards has become un-useable?
I can only log in to the home page and from there see my alerts.
If I change page or move to a different thread or try to log in directly I get asked to log in????

Trying to log in again brings up that oops something went wrong banner and anyone who has seen that message knows going back and refreshing like they suggest is useless. For some reason I can only reply or post in this thread. Kindly respond to this post if you have an answer.
Much appreciated,

There was a major outage about a month ago that f***ed everything up. It doesn't help that yesterday was Trade Deadline day slowing down the site quite a bit.

Try another browser? Maybe Brave.

Well, not ideal, but not quite a killer either. There's still a lot of games left.

Two points by Montreal tonight keep them in 10th. Tied in points with both Columbus & NYR. Columbus will hold WC2 due to points percentage. NYR will hold 9th due to RWs.

Ottawa jumps into WC1 with the win.

CBJ @ RANGERS tomorrow (6 PM).

Red Wings are off this weekend but play @ Ottawa Monday.

Generally when you get logged out when you try to navigate around a site it's cookies issue, so flush those and try again (or try in incognito/private browser mode since it give you an environment without permanent cookies.)
Tried a fresh install of brave to no avail. I've used private browser in the past when there were buggy issues that seemed to work but even now that option seems cooked.

The loss tonight drops us back down to 11th. Detroit takes over 10th based off RWs (they have one more). All of Detroit, Montreal & Boston are tied with 66 pts, but Bruins have played more games.

We stay 2 pts back of WC2, but CBJ have a game in hand now.

CBJ are @ NYR tomorrow. Regardless of who wins, Montreal is guaranteed to be 3 points back by tomorrow night.

Whoever wins that game jumps Ottawa for WC1 (70 pts). Sens will fall to WC2. Sens can't lose their playoff spot tomorrow, and Ottawa is 3 points up on Montreal now.

19 games left for Montreal.

Mtl is not making the playoffs. But i hope ottawa doesnt either. But only ottawa amd the rangers made moves to improve out of the pack. So i have columbus, rangers and ottawa getting in. Devils slipping out. Too many injurjes.

I get wanting to see the playoffs but Habs already completed their started goal this year. The rest is gravy. If they can stay in the mix until April, I'll be pleased with the progression of the team seeing that there are so many plugs on the team that management are patiently waiting to either get rid of or have them leave naturally. Once players like Demidov come in to transform the 2nd line, or Reinbacher to replace Savard, etc the team will be much better for it imo. If they don't make the playoffs next year, it's a failure of a season

Habs need a 2nd line that can score, Laine is disappointing but playing him with Beck seems like a waste. I would bring up Roy and put Newhook in the center between Roy and Laine.

Caufield Suzuki Slaf
Laine Newhook Roy
Gallagher Dvorak Anderson
Heineman Evans Armia

I’m enjoying this run, but they’re not a playoff team and clearly Hughes didn’t think so either because he wasn’t going to pay what was necessary to add pieces.
It’s clear from his suzuki quote that he allowed “the fellowship” to stay together @Runner77 at the captain’s request, but the wild swings in winning / losing streaks sealed his decision.
If we see it, they see it:

Too young
Not enough offensive talent beyond 1st line
Streaky and injure prone secondary scoring (Laine / Dach)
No 2C
No 1D -injured
Inconsistent goaltending
Too small throughout the lineup -
Carrier, Hutson, caufield, Gallagher, Newhook is a lot of small players at key positions. And yes I know that caufield and Hutson are immense talents.
Let’s see what Hughes/gorton do this summer

They should have traded all ufa's and got something for 2nd line centre .Doing nothing was just plain stupid.Do one or the other or both
