The habs buy themselves some time with this point.

I don't know how many guys the habs are legally able to rest for the last game, but I'd give it to as many key guys as they can.

Since when is 3-3 hockey a thing ? This is a clown show and doesn't matter in the playoffs.

The record doesn't mean anything, it's the way they've been playing that's a problem.

He just came back from injury. So there is probably some rust he needs to shake off.

As for him being gone this summer, I don't think he'll be extended (unless he goes on a tear in the playoffs). He's now playing the role of a rental.

You got Allen sporting a 3+ GAA the last 10gms, many forwards like Tatar, Staal, Armia, Anderson who look done with this yr. KK with no confidence.

On D, you got the cluster that is Merril and Romanov.

If I was a goalie, I’d be doing the Hasek on Gaborik slide everytime McDavid is on a breakaway. He’s going to school you everytime if you let him skate in, so just take him out.

The flying poke check would be my go too. You’re basically expected to get beat by him in that situation anyways. No harm done.

So far, he's brought 30 points in 48 games, on pace for 51,25 on a full 82 games season. On a VERY cheap contract. After TWO other great seasons.
