Finland U18 team should win the South Koreans with their hands tied and eyes covered. No excuses.To be fair, this tournament has probably the most even teams on paper in a while.
Norway has a B squad? Their only loss is Zuccarello.Against Norway and Germany B squads...
Brock Radunske scored? That has to be the first HFBoards poster scoring against Finland in an international game, right?
Judging by what I got to see, they WERE better. They got the pressure onto us every time they got to our defensive zone, a thing none of our group play opponents were really able to do.Teemu Selänne (as TV5 Intermission color commentator) says that "...Korea was almost better then Finland in 2nd period... [add jargon that Finns need to get grip etc. ect.]"
He isn't wrong.
In the Sweden vs. Finland thread i stated that i have not liked him at all. Should've started Rämö for this one.Norway has a B squad? Their only loss is Zuccarello.
Germany is pretty much the same team, only losing Drasaitl and Rieder who would have made it instantly.
The point was that the other weak teams were defeated with convincing control and goalscoring. Now that they're facing Korea and having some struggles, it's suddenly a problem that they won those matches convincingly huh?
Koskinen has been immobile and hasn't controlled rebounds well for the whole tournament. Not placing any blame on him?
I would have played Rämö earlier too. It makes no sense to ride one goalie if that goalie is giving up easy goals in 2 consecutive games in group play against pretty easy opponents.In the Sweden vs. Finland thread i stated that i have not liked him at all. Should've started Rämö for this one.
Wait, what?
It stings that it had to be a TML poster, too.
@Brock Radunske
I like to imagine that poster as the real Radunske, bored out of his mind most of the time far away from home in Korea, posting here to kill time.
