Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Also, to those who feel alienated by stupid internet humor, try NOT going outside so much I mean geeze.
Honestly though Aliens was dumber than balls and Killem "lovin' it" basically proves that point. Secondly, apply what I just said to wrastlin' minus the Killlem part. If you enjoy it that's fantastic and I won't judge you, but it does nothing for me and I wouldn't take part in the playoff push avatar fun club if that was what won. So it goes both ways, like Killem.

ha, thanks for the cred but I think I got an solid idea for this the only question is my skills and if paint, uploading ect works in safe mode cuz my computer is quite ****ed.

The way I see it, we have two options:
1) We can scrap these ideas, and come up with something that KreiMeARiver, as the self-appointed authority of what's good/bad/funny/unfunny, finds acceptable.
2.) We can go with the options that got the majority of the votes.
I'm personally torn. Thoughts?

Why do you care what other people think? Seriously. Ever been to the Ottawa sens board? The year we played them in the playoffs, every GDT they had was done completely in MS paint. They thought it was funny. They didn't care. Why should we.
Look, I made this thread as something that is supposed to be fun. Every year up until now, it has been. The increase of immaturity on here from 2013 to 2014 is astounding.
If you don't like what we have come up with then either try to put your own spin on the idea or get out. No one here needs the negativity. None of this "it sucks" or "makes no sense" bull****. If your idea isn't what the majority wants... then just make your own! There is no rule that says we all have to use the same. HOWEVER, most posters usually hop on board with the idea for the sake of unity.
IF you want to do wrestling, do it. So far the wrestling ones that have been created do look very nice!
Serious note. Who is in charge of making avys from Brossgod to GIF? All I know is I see a few of these out there and I want one
I don't care if other boards find the joke funny or not. If we had a Sather related joke other bords wouldn't find it funny. What I meant was that I'm pretty sure that a lot of people on our own board wouldn't understand the joke at all, and that to me is problematic. And I completely agree that the unity thing is nice to have, and that's why I feel the Rongnos theme could be ailenating, since it's a very very obscure joke.
And if you want to talk about immaturity, someone asked in this thread what the joke was. Instread of explaining it to him, the first poster that responded just kept making the joke like the guy who didn't get the joke just had asked why goalies wear different equipment, or something other so stupid that anybody who ever had watched hockey would know on a hockey board. (If anyone remember that girl asking Anson Carter a bunch of questions before a game earlier this season

I think the problem is you downloaded only one frame when you tried to download the gif.
Try just copying the img url (From the avatar I posted) and pasting that in the custom avatar section

Everybody can have an opinion. That's why it's a poll. If someone doesn't like the themes, feel free to throw out your idea. I don't think everyone on HFNYR is going to agree on 1 avatar theme, which is why anyone can pick any theme they want.
Personally, I don't think I will use a playoff push avatar and I'm sure a large amount of posters here won't either. I can think of a list of posters who are probably face palming at the "rongos" idea, but they most likely won't use one as well.
It's not really an inside joke, not any more than any other theme here. One is an internet meme, one is wrestling, one is a cartoon, etc...no matter what someone is going to feel left out.
The thing I would suggest, however, is instead of making it a poll, just list everyone's idea and then people can request whatever avatar they want. Instead of saying, "this is the theme we'll use" it can be whichever the individual poster wants. That way everyone is happy.
