OT: Playoff Push Avatars Rongos Pls or Sterling Archer? Ideas Pls.

The Rongos thing just sucks. It just not funny. Not everyboy hangs out on imageboards and knows what he hell the reference is. And the reference isn´t funny to begin with. When you make it such an obscure theme it´s easy to alienate people. This whole theme feel like it´s an in-joke on an in-joke. To a majority of people this will just be crude pictures and misspelled names that make no ****ing sense.

I kinda liked the "best for business" thing, but I am a wrestling fan. I know wrestling isn´t everyones cup of tea, but at least with that theme you have a picture of Triple H or Vince McMahon to give some kind of idea what the reference is.
 
For the last time, knock it off with the insults. If you can't discuss a topic civilly, then keep it to yourself. They're PRE-playoff avatars FFS, it's just for fun. I'm sure if you guys can converse without all the vitriol, there's a chance one of the resident Pshoppers on the board will be happy to make you an avatar for whatever theme you want. As one of said Photoshoppers on HFNYR, I can guarantee* you that our Playoff Avatars will be very nice, and will have a theme that we can all get behind. Negativity doesn't solve anything. This applies to everyone, lay off the attitude, we're all fans of the same team, and that's what's important.

Honestly, does it really matter that much? Let's stop pretending like this is the ruin of The School of Athens over a few MS paint drawings. Please, if you have a problem with something, PM me and I will be happy to help. Thank you.

Why do you care what other people think? Seriously. Ever been to the Ottawa sens board? The year we played them in the playoffs, every GDT they had was done completely in MS paint. They thought it was funny. They didn't care. Why should we.

Look, I made this thread as something that is supposed to be fun. Every year up until now, it has been. The increase of immaturity on here from 2013 to 2014 is astounding.

If you don't like what we have come up with then either try to put your own spin on the idea or get out. No one here needs the negativity. None of this "it sucks" or "makes no sense" bull****. If your idea isn't what the majority wants... then just make your own! There is no rule that says we all have to use the same. HOWEVER, most posters usually hop on board with the idea for the sake of unity.

IF you want to do wrestling, do it. So far the wrestling ones that have been created do look very nice!


Serious note. Who is in charge of making avys from Brossgod to GIF? All I know is I see a few of these out there and I want one :laugh:

I feel pretty alienated by the best for business theme, and triple H or Vince Mcmahon do nothing to explain it since I haven't watched it in 16 years.

Shocking that you would defend "best for business."

I don't understand why people have to complain because their choice didn't win.

I know, I'm not saying you Ail, I'm just saying that if everyone plays nice, then they might be able to get what they want. Insults won't accomplish anything. For instance, another poster in this thread made a few rogue-themed avatars for some people who asked nicely.

I think wrestling is dumb.

But, if that's what was winning, I'd either just go with it, or ignore it
