Ask the people that say Sullivan is a great coach. I would love to know if Pittsburgh has the worst post season possession stats of any cup team?

Weren't their possession stats good against Ottawa and Columbus? They were only dominated by Washington, and they were missing Crosby for half the series on top of an already battered blue line. I don't think there's a team in the league that would have great possession stats if they had to endure the injuries the Pens have this post season.

The 1st and 2nd rounds they were at the bottom. Caps series was really bad, but like you said injuries. Ottawa series they dominated possession wise. Nashville will probably dominate the Pens possession wise.

Makes sense though, Blue Jackets, Caps, and Preds all better possession teams than Pittsburgh in the regular season. Ottawa was one of the worst of the playoff teams.

I think Maata can hold his own in the neutral zone. Good spacing. But once he's in his own zone being attacked, it's ****ing chaos. His body language screams "Myers slump"

This series has been a snooze fest this far. No better than the Ottawa series. Hm.. Perhaps hockey in general has lost a lot more entertainment value than I thought.

there's been a ton of great games in this year's playoffs. these 2 first games of the final haven't been very good but it's often this way, players are injured and weary physically and emotionally, they're kind of just hanging on. series get better as they go along usually.

McCleod wins bonehead of the year award as far as I am concerned. Two shifts this period. Almost a penalty on the 1st and definitely a penalty on the 2nd.

I agree to a degree. I'm just sick of the clutch and grab hockey that's crept it's way back into today's game. Post lockout hockey was phenomal.

If Pittsburgh wins back to back Stanley Cups with Matt Murray standing on his head like he's doing this game... He's going to get paid like a king.
