Parity? No league has parity right now besides MLB. Pats in NFL, Warriors/Cavs in NBA, Pens/Hawks/Kings in NHL. Pens will win another.

I don't like Pittsburgh at all, but watching Ottawa is like going to the dentist. Happy they're out. I think Pens-Preds will be a fun, uptempo series.

Yes !

Let's go Pens. I'd like to see the first repeat in the cap era. And I don't want that smug jerk Laviolette win another cup or another team win their first cup before the Sabres. Enough of that. If Crosby gets cup #3 he solidifies himself as a top 5 forward of all time if he isn't one already. Not to mention it would be another cup to go on our new GMs resume/pedigree. I just don't want to see another southern hockey market win a cup. Tampa, Carolina was enough. Press didn't even used to sell out their playoff games.

At lease with this they have the Malkin/Crosby vs the Pred's defense narrative.

Ottawa/Nashville would have been the worst series to watch ever. Especially sans Johonsen.

This. I just wish Nashville had Johansen. They looked terrible without him in game 7.
