"Zuccarello was working in his regular spot with the first power-play unit, even running a five-minute meeting with the group toward the end of that portion of practice."

Mentoring the shit out of those poor souls. Anything else than 100% on the PP is a failure with the greatest mentor the world has ever seen back in the practices.

That would be an excellent plan.
The problem with this, as I see it, is game management. We all know the refs want to have the same amount of marbles in each pocket, at the end of the game. If I’m Dallas, my game plan is to take penalties freely, knowing the refs will eventually even them out, and then destroy us on special teams.

Yurov has zero points, and a 28% FO win. He still plays a decent defensive game, and his speed allows him to get places on the ice, but he's hardly been a positive. I think Tarasenko has been worse. Had a couple of hot scoring streaks during the season, but right now he looks slow, looks weak in puck battles, and loses a lot of pucks.

I thought Sturm looked vg in the last game - best I've seen him all year. he wins FO's too.

Wild is 15,8% on the PP, Dallas is 42,1%. In other words the PK is 57,9% vs 84,2%.

The Otter is keeping his team alive when 5 on 5, just waiting for the PP to do their thing.
I don't think he can keep this up in the long run, sooner or later he's out of luck.
If we can stay focused in the first half of the game and give them nothing, I think this could be an easy W.
The key being, of course, staying out of the box.

Can you imagine if we still had Rossi? He'd be 100% on the dot, have 100 goals, and 100 assists for 200 pts!

Edit: replied to you, but not directed at you.
