The problem with this, as I see it, is game management. We all know the refs want to have the same amount of marbles in each pocket, at the end of the game. If I’m Dallas, my game plan is to take penalties freely, knowing the refs will eventually even them out, and then destroy us on special teams.
Which gets back to if you can’t score on PP, what is keeping the Stars from hacking the Wild to death? I have a hard time believing that a 5’8” ,38 year old wing is the key to the entire series. I suppose from the stats since he’s been out that is indeed the case.

Can you imagine if we still had Rossi? He'd be 100% on the dot, have 100 goals, and 100 assists for 200 pts!

Edit: replied to you, but not directed at you.
Rossi was quite a bit more effective than Yurov has been but I’m not positive with some muscle and mean Yurov could be as effective in future. Doesn’t help now though.

I dont think zuc should be playing.

Everybody knows he's been out due to concussion, one bodycheck and he's out again.

It's all down to little things at this time of year. One guy coming back who can make a difference on the PP, or setting up our star winger is certainly possible.

"The following lineup is a projection and is subject to change:

FORWARDS

90 Marcus Johansson - 14 Joel Eriksson Ek - 12 King Boldy
97 Moneybags - 38 Ryan Harmtan - 36 Mentorhead Zuccarello
91 Vladimir Taraaenko - 47 Carrot - 10 Bobby Brink
17 Marcus Foligno - 78 Nico Sturm - 71 the other Foligno

DEFENSE

43 Quinn Hughes - 7 Nutcracker
25 Jonas Brodin - 46 Jared Spurgeon
5 Jake Middleton - 24 Zach Bogosian

GOALTENDERS

30 Jesper Wallstedt
32 Filip Gustavsson"

If this is the true lineup, the Foligno bros is back on the same line and Carrot plays over Yurov with Taraa and Brink. Let's see if Zuke can get the PP rolling again.
Last game we saw some crazy bounces going the Wild way. How long can the Otter keep them in this series?
Let's go Wild!

What bounces went the Wild's way?

Last week Russo said he wasnt diagnosed with concussion, doesnt mean he isnt wrong though

I had to put on real people clothes and go to the office for the first time in a LONG time today. Back in my natural state (sweat pants) and excited to watch a weekday Wild playoff game that won't go into the wee hours of the night. Yes, my Euro friends, I know youre tougher.

Let's go Wild!

The Foligno goal is the easiest to look up. Then the one puck that went behind Wally all along the goal line.
And you're telling me Dallas didn't have 2+ bounces go their way? The Kap crossbar shot? I'm sure there are others.

I do seem to remember a loose puck "scrum" around Oettinger as well.

Trenin and Zucc are in. Keep your heads up, boys. And nobody needs to hit Benn. We don't need the penalties. Besides, all you really have to do is skate near him and watch him dive.
