If both teams play to the potential they've shown this year (even considering Boudreau) then we would win, that's why I see us as favorites. At least it seems like most neutral fans are leaning towards the Ducks. There's just lots of overzealous Jets fans.
 
This Jets fan has nothing but admiration for your Ducks team and believe also that Perry and Getzlaf are by far the most dangerous 1-2 punch in the league. The reality is, a Jets series win will truly be an upset but not out of the realm of possibility. I'll be stoked if we take it to 7 games where ANYTHING can happen. Looking for this to be one of the most exciting series in the opening round.

I like your organization as well. Tip of the hat to you and yours before all Buff breaks loose and I end up hating every player on your team and half the fanbase. ;)
 
While I am not completely sold on the Ducks ability to get their act together, I find it hilarious that we are generally perceived as the underdog.

I agree that we're shaky, but I'm not surprised we're perceived at the underdog.

I AM, however, completely dumbfounded by how laughably uneducated some of the posters on the main board thread are about our team.
 
Good luck guys, should be a good series even though it is top and bottom conf. ranked teams. A lot of parity in the West considering the Kings are out.

Sorry not even remotely close. The only thing Little did better was produce a few more points but he was playing 1st line minutes whereas Kesler was used in a more defensive role. He is a significantly better player and his next contract will be at least 6-6.5 million dollars guaranteed.

Really hope silly antics on the main board don't cause too much unnecessary bad blood between our teams here on HF. I think quite highly of the Ducks and congrats for winning the west again.

I'd love it if we made the next round, but if we don't I hope that you guys make it far.

as a life long #hcanes fan, and supporter of #atlantahockey, i've treated the jets franchise as anathema since its inception :laugh:

Thank you for the post. I feel what you just said is the way most Jets fans feel. Shame the loudest fans tend to be the most irrational.

Glad Winnipeg is back in the playoffs. As a hockey fan I'm truly excited to see how loud and great your fans are when you're at home.

Here's to each team not physically destroying each other so much that they can't compete in the next round. :cheers:
 
Oh God, I think I had an aneurysm after reading that main board thread. Seems like everybody is picking us to lose this series.
