I had a new idea. Since this season celebrates our team's 25th anniversary, and even more so since the Hurricanes are selling a 90s retro t-shirt in their shop (it looks very nice btw), I thought that's an untapped idea: 90s retro or the 90s in general for that matter (sitcoms come to mind).

Anyway, I entered "carolina hurricanes hockey player in 90s retro style" as the prompt, and I'm gonna only upload screenshots to save me a lot of time instead of converting them, and so you guys see more instead of me just picking what I think is the best. I'm not sure if they all really look 90s retro (lol) but it manages to make images that actually look decent IMO.

So, if you see something you like, let me know which one so I'll convert it to a .jpeg, and then maybe if you want, 3CanesInABox can make the gif for you if you don't use imgur. Here they are:

I have a few more of Stormy that look pretty decent, but I thought maybe people wanted to get some generic Hurricane players instead (since AI often struggles to make a specific player that resembles the real person). So, here's some variety.

I was thinking earlier of making a pop culture figure wear a Hurricanes jersey or hat, and who better than Stormtroopers from Star Wars? With these, I couldn't just take a screenshot because there were a lot of bad AI images to swift through lol. So, I converted these better quality images to .jpg. I hope you guys enjoy! These were quite fun to "make." Some of the images below actually look like a digital artist made them IMO; especially the later ones.
