Lol. Yeah, not the style I had in mind.
Who was it that posted a couple of months ago a Soviet art style of Svechnokov generated by AI? Whatever that website was, that's probably what we should go with.
Make the AI images look like an art style of the players so it looks cool and more professional.
I'm not familiar with AI websites that generate images, so I'm not sure which one to look at.

I was just thinking that we could have the AI generate player images in different art styles (impressionism, renaissance, etc.) but depending on how they look (they might not look great), maybe we should just go with that Soviet style to keep things simple since I remember they looked so good. With Svech being injured, that's a better excuse if we do go that route to honor Svech. Although with Russia's invasion and war in Ukraine these days... some could have an objection understandably with that art style.

If people have another suggestion for a theme, I'll genuinely have an open mind.
My only problem is he isn't in a Hurricanes jersey. I misremembered and thought at least one of the images he had a jersey on. I think we'd have to make clear which player it is if we go this route.
I've messed around a little bit with different AI websites, and even for the ones that aren't horror images as we've seen earlier in this topic, they can't get the jerseys right (if the player even has a jersey on).
Btw, that bottom right image looks like Harry Styles. The others aren't bad.
*edit* I think we might have to see how other players look in this particular AI image generator before we can feel confident this is a good theme to go with. AI images seem kind of inconsistent from my brief experience. One downside about this theme is it's more complex.

I know Midjourney allows you to upload an image as a base reference & you can then have it manipulate things from there. I’ll mess around with it tonight to see if I can get to an acceptable result.

I'm getting World of Warcraft vibes, and I haven't even played the game before.
*Edit* I think we should have one image saying Carolina Hurricanes playoffs 2023 either before or after the AI image to give people an idea of what team we're pulling for since so far things look ambiguous based on the AI images. We did that before with 3Canesinthebox having a slideshow with the "huge Caniac" theme.
Maybe we can get kind of cute saying something like, I, for one, welcome our AI overlords. Then the AI image pops up, and then the slideshow ends with Carolina Hurricanes playoffs 2023 as the final image. That sounds great to me.
@3CanesInTheBox Could you do that above idea for a slideshow for us? I think having a slideshow with uniformity before and after the wildly different AI images in the middle makes it an actual theme. That makes up for the AI images having so much variation, and not to mention with several of the images, it's hard to tell they're particular hockey players for the average person.
